Imagine stepping into a world where medieval majesty meets magical wonder. Welcome to the Festival of Legends, where Glitter-Free Productions has masterfully blended renaissance fair traditions with enchanting realms of fantasy.
This two-day celebration immerses you in a medieval dreamscape filled with wandering fairies, mystical creatures, and spellbinding performances. Watch knights clash in theatrical combat, learn ancient crafts from costumed artisans, and feast on period-inspired delicacies while minstrels serenade you with otherworldly melodies. Or something like that.
All the fun is family friendly, and if you want the exhaustive list you can find it on their entertainment page. It’s packed. Also, make sure you read the FAQ for the rules.
Here’s a glimpse into what awaits.

Festival of Legends is about a month away, but remember the NCSU Mini-Con is next weekend in Raleigh! Check it out to get your nerd culture fix.
Speaking of mini cons, I got a chance to talk to vendors at the Durham Mini Comicon a couple of weeks ago. I’ll have a video out soon on what they had to say.
