Upcoming events

Don’t forget to look at the interactive calendar for more dates & details.

There’s a lot happening this weekend

Especially if you’re in the Triangle. We covered IndigiPopX last week, so make sure you check that out. It’s a great way to spend a weekend in Durham.

There are also two markets happening in the Triangle: Geek & Grub and Anime Matsuri. Let’s cover those super quick.

Geek & Grub (Apex): I’ve mentioned their markets before. It’s a great free event to peruse what local vendors and artisans have to offer. The event also includes mini games, cosplay, and a raffle. This weekend’s theme is Vikings, so have fun with it and stay warm.

Anime Matsuri (Raleigh): An Oak And Bull Collective event all about anime, food, and Japanese culture. They’ll have local vendors, food trucks, and more. If anime is your thing, stop by here. And enjoy the food! Itadakimasu!

Now on to some larger events…

The Geekery Market is basically a mini convention

Charlotte, NC—Saturday, November 15, 10AM to 4PM

The Charlotte Geeks has been a community organization since 2008. And this weekend they’re putting on the 9th iteration of what is now known as The Geekery Market. With close to 100 unique artisans confirmed, it’s an event you don’t want to miss.

And it’s more than just a market. Expect music, interactive activities, crafting, games, cosplay, raffles, and more!

Also, if you’re in Charlotte and like Discord, join the Charlotte Geeks server and connect with more folks and join the Charlotte Geeks community.
