Yule Tidings from the NC Viking Experience

Love the grit of ancient Norse custom? The Viking Experience is holding their Yuletide celebration in Oxford, NC this weekend. Immerse yourself in Drekheim Village, where you can dress like a viking, do some holiday shopping, throw some axes, that sort of thing.
The Viking Experience gets consistently recommended to me as great immersive fun, so this event should be well worth going to!

Raleigh Retro Gamers Town Market
Raleigh, NC—Saturday, December 6, 12 PM to 5 PM
The Raleigh Retro Gamers are back with their town market, held at the Triangle Town Center in Raleigh. If you love retro gaming and haven’t been to one of these, make the time to go! There are close to 100 vendors selling all kinds of retro gaming-related things. It’s the perfect place to pick up a GameCube or rare PC game from the 90s.
There’s also freeplay gaming, TCG, and a cosplay contest!
