It’s a Comic Book & Toy Expo

Wake Forest, NC—Saturday, November 1st, 10AM to 4PM

Brought to you by Play4Life Comics and the Wake Forest Parks & Rec department, the same folks who put on the Wake Forest ComiCon in August. This expo happened earlier in March too, so it’s a smaller recurring event.

The city website has the details, but the Instagram page is probably updated more frequently. What to expect:

  • Vintage comics

  • Pokemon cards

  • Rare toys & action figures

  • Model kits

If this sounds like your thing, check it out. It’s free!

Cost: Free
Address: Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N White St, Wake Forest, NC 27587

Table top gaming next week? | Mythic Con

Charlotte, NC—November 7-9

Mythic Con is all about tabletop gaming. From RPGs to card games and more, it’s a convention where you’re meant to play. The schedule is packed, and you can use that page to grab a seat at any available game table that intrigues you. (There are over 500 events on that list, and I’m pretty sure most of them are gaming tables.)

Tickets (buy your badge here)
Schedule (grab your seat for a game here)

There are also two LARP events and a dozen panels or so, and many crafters and vendors to peruse if you don’t feel like gaming all weekend. Check out their website for more info because there’s a lot there, and keep up with their FB / IG pages for latest updates.

Cost: From $15 (Friday/Sunday single-day) to $50 (weekend)
