Epic & Mighty: Wendell’s mini con has a big heart

Did you go to Epic Mighty Con in Wendell last month? I mentioned it briefly in last week’s issue, but it was really a great experience.

Big cons bring in impressive activities, vendors, celebrities, etc., but the sense of connection and community you get from a small con like Epic Mighty Con is unmatched. If you want to network with authors, actors, and merchants, this is the place. If you want to make real friends, this is the place. If you want to get to know local nerd/geek culture… well, you get the idea. But don’t take it from me. Here’s Eva (event co-founder) and friends telling you all about it:

Short one this week, but do enjoy the video above. We put a lot of soul into it. And let us know if you know of any fun smaller events happening in your area! Hit reply and send me an email.

Enjoying this content? Share it with a friend! And don’t forget to check out the calendar and business directory for more North Carolina nerdy goodness.

I’ll see you next week,

– Matias

Am I missing a big event? Hit reply and let me know! We’re trying to cover more events across the state, and we need your help to make sure we get them all :)
