I also stream on Twitch nearly every day of the week! 🚀 Did You Go To GalaxyCon Raleigh?

We did. And it was so good.

This year’s con felt bigger than ever, with a ton to explore. Thankfully, the GalaxyCon Stamp Passport gave us the perfect excuse to check out everything from multiple stages to the tabletop and video gaming arenas.

We filmed our adventure as we ran around getting stamps and chatting with the amazing volunteers at each stop. Check it out below.

PS: 2026 dates are set for July 23-26.

Greenville Anime Fest Is Tomorrow

If you're itching for more con energy, you're in luck. Greenville Anime Fest is happening this Saturday, August 9 at the Holiday Inn in Greenville!

Expect vendors, cosplay, panels, and plenty of anime packed into a one-day event. It's a great option if you're in eastern North Carolina or just looking for a fun weekend road trip.

Tickets are still available online or at the door.

Cost: $20 in advance or at the door.
Address: Holiday Inn, 203 Greenville Blvd. SE, Greenville, NC

September: Queen City Anime Convention

Charlotte, NC—Sep 12-14, 2025

Here’s one for those in the Charlotte area (or if you’ve been looking for a reason to head that way).

Queen City Anime Convention leans hard into what makes anime cons special: community, connection, and shared passion. Whether you’re a first-timer or a con veteran, this is the kind of weekend built for making new friends, showing off your cosplay, and diving into fandom conversations.

Check out their Instagram for the latest guest & event announcements. They’ll have voice actors and music performers attending. There are also some competitions in cosplay crafting and performance, if you’re interested in participating!

Cost: From $35 (single-day Sunday) to $110 (Weekend VIP)
Address: Charlotte-Concord Embassy Suites & Convention Center, 5400 John Q. Hammons Dr NW, Concord, NC 28027

That’s it for this issue. Until next time, this is Matias signing off.
